With potentially highish levels again this weekend, it is worth noting that as of last Saturday there was a substantial tree sitting bang in the middle of the RH high-water 'chicken chute' line at the 3rd drop below Sennybridge. Quite possibly room to squeeze past on either side, but would certainly merit inspection before committing to the rapid

Just to note that as of Sunday 25 jan it is still there..... As Dave says a large tree not going anywhere any time soon.

It's not in lower levels (or higher for that matter) as it's on the slide on river right which only ever gets run in high levels anyway. It runs parallel to the flow and can be easily missed.Daffers wrote:Really???
