Hi Guys,

A tree came down last night blocking the river in our car park, it is just down stream of the eddy with the steps to our shop, NRW have been informed
Image on Facebook I haven't paddled the rest of the run to see if anything else has come down

Do you have any information about put-in/take outs for this river? Hoping to give it a go this weekend (levels permitting) but information seems scant.

Hey Matto

No problem at all the get in is behind the Blue Bell chinese restaurant/ Pub in Cynel Elfred Postcode SA33 6TLpark behind space for a few cars, the river is accessed by crossing the small road bridge and path on the river right bank upstream of the road bridge. Down from here is a nice grade 2 run with several waves and fun moves to be had, the tree is still blocking the river at our store about 1/2 way down, from us down there are a few more 2 and one 3 that is easy to inspect river right. The get out parking on the small layby at the SA31 2AF just off the A485 after the river bridge. The actual get out is upstream of the bridge and a path leads to a small track back to the a485, or you can continue down to Carmarthen Quay which adds a few more miles and a few small rapids.

Hope this Helps

Chris
