CARS BEING STOLEN HI TIDE CAR PARK

Post by Lock and Load » Thu Jun 20, 2013 10:20 pm

Hi all, just to let you all know that my car was stolen Friday 14th June 2013 10;20am from the Hi Tide car park. My keys were found in the car park by the thieves and drove away within 10 minutes of being on the water surf kayaking.
Its a
BLACK FORD FOCUS ESTATE 2:0 LTR CLIMATE
WITH ROOF BARS
reg KN55 WPF
5 SPOKE SLIVER ALLOYS 16 INCH
DVD PLAYERS IN THE HEAD RESTS
2 baby seats

The police say that a spate of VW camper/ transporter have and are being targetted. None have been recovered!
ALL KEYS should be handed in to Hi Tide amusements or the cafe at Rest Bay. They are happy to keep keys for you.

The thieves are according to police turning up in wet suits and and checking wheel arches.
Please call 101 if you come accross my car or bloke it in.

Thank you for your time.
Chris

Is that by the hi tide cafe at Rest Bay? Or Caswell??? that sucks! I always take my keys with me inside a dry bag in surf boat or aqua pac under neath suit or paddle jacket, after a friend had same issue and his insurance wouldn't pay out due to the keys being with the car hope you are more lucky

There was an issue at Langland a few years ago

Key pocket of cag dude. Never leave cars at car. I'm guessing I hooked out the keys without noticing and then zipped it up.
Hi tide , porthcawl
Insurance should pay out as they say it is plausible to hook keys.
I'll let you know the outcome
Happy paddling
