Paddled this on Sat (21/01/2012).

For a guide the EA bridge Dyfi was at 1.69m (not the same river but the Dulas flows into it)

The river was on the lowish side. There were a couple of tree trucks across the entire river which requires portaging. Most of the river was G2 with the odd G3 drop. Last drop before Forge bridge was maybe G4- at this level. We got out after this at the bridge. All the portages were clearly visable and nothing sneaked up on you.

Paddled this yesterday ay fairly high flows, yet still within it's banks. One large tree within the first few miles that needed portaging, it was huge! Lots of overhanging branches.

We also met with the owner of the Dolguog Hall. He was very friendly but said he was noticing a higher number of paddlers using his car park. He asked that people parked in the rear carpark and advised that he would appreciate anyone parking letting him know.

He has had problems with people blocking the passing places on the drive to the hotel, inconsiderate parking and then abuse from paddlers when asked to park with more consideration!!! This is his land and livelyhood and hopefully we can help with his wishes. He kayaks himself and had no problems with people egressing the river here.

Four of us ran this on Friday 28th, could have done with being a little higher. We did portage a little further down where there is evidence of 3 trees under the water, the line was fine for two of them but you would have to get it spot on to get the third. We opted to walk round and I went for an auto seal lanch before getting my deck back on or holding onto my paddles, DOH!!!

We parked in the 1st layby to the hotel and had a chat with a friendly chap in a van who does not mind paddlers, but he does object to the litter they are leaving behind!! He also said there were quite a few paddlers now.
