Walked this from top of Rhaeadr Ddu to the end 16 March in very low water. There are screwed anchors part way down the entry slide and a convenient tree above the lip of the main waterfall to anchor for the main abseil. There are severe tree hazards along much of the river with quite a few river wide... Not what you want to see in a deep walled in gorge! But it is a fantastic gorge walk with lots of plunge pools to jump into. Beware, not all are as deep as they look!PS the nature of the rock slides in places could present massive foot/leg entrapment hazard if swum. Best tackled from inside your boat when there's water, or at least keep your feet up!
