A couple of pointsTWP/Kayakojacko/Playboating are all defunct or no longer a source of river levels. Most people use www.tvfreestylers.co.uk or the maidenhead rowing club online gauge to assess what the weir is running on.The rodeo is no longer held in march :-(, currently it resides in november. The east arms was knocked down 5 years ago and is now a small housing estate.

Acouple of further points. There is not a regular occurance of theft from cars in the car park, infact there hasn't been any. You are not allowed to park or have BBQ's in the field next to the weir, the field is owned by Riverside Caravan Park and the Security teams are hot in policing this. If you want BBQ's you have to walk over the footbridge and go past the Lock Keepers house into the special BBQ area which has been set up.
