Update on the Walkham tree removal is that the tree is massive 3ft to 8" over 18ft long and it's going to take some shifting. But, it can be done. At todays level a lot of the tree was showing, 0.25 at Horrabridge. The tree is in the slot just after the drop, so this makes this part of the river unusable. we are meeting at the Halfway house car-park PL19 9ER for 10:00hrs. We need 4x 4 meter scaffold tubes. Lots of good lifting rope. I have a chain block and tackle. We have two chain saw's and various bow saws. We have access from the Lower Grenofen end, but it's about 1/2 mile down from there so I am trying to get access from the other end which is about 300 yards away. Either way we can get there. Any tree surgeons will be greatly appreciated. And any massive land rovers as well. Please put up names if your coming to help and what equipment if any you have. Thank you in advance for your assistance. For SUNDAY 15TH DECEMBER.

When levels drop that be easy enough to clear. It's usually no more than knee deep there.
