river Churnet

the river Churnet dose anyone know anything abou it? thinking of paddleing it next sunday if water level is ok...

I paddled it. To be honest i wouldn't bother doing at again unless in really high water.
The only worth while part of the trip is the gorge with the grade 3 waterfall. That bit was good fun and i would of liked to do that again but because of it being in a gorge.... No.
Also, the walk back up to the car park isn't particualry pleasent. However, when we did it it was like -4 so the canal was frozen.
