River levels

Post by daveclarke »

Can anyone enlighten me please? For a medium level run on the Upper Wye (Llangurig, Rhayader) and Upper Irfon (wolfs leap down) What does it need to be on the webcam gauge or the EA water level info site? Thanks

Ran the Wye from Rhayader down 2 wks ago. at EA gauge 1. it was nice and bouncy.
Could not do the Town falls as tree blocking the exit
Ran the upper Wye TO Rhayader last week at EA gauge 0.85 got out at the camp site. Tree still blocking the Town falls.
Could not run through the letter Box.it was showing its teeth. it was run extreme river left by 2 of our party.
So at 0.85 just about RUnable
Hope that helps.
