Thames Valley Paddle Fest

Post by Alex Shiell » Fri Sep 09, 2016 2:26 pm

Join the Southern Region Development Team for the inaugural Thames Valley Paddle Fest. Hosted by Longridge Activity Centre at their unique riverside location near Marlow, with a diverse range of workshops in the idyllic backwater, broad stretches of classic Thames scenery and the local weir.
Supercharge your paddling with innovative workshops by Greg Spencer of the Open Canoe Association. Challenge your perceptions of canoeing, push your boundaries and walk away buzzing to try more.
Expand your horizons with introductions to freestyle, canoe polo and racing. Experienced and enthusiastic providers sharing their passions and teaching you new skills.
Discover new places with Marlow Canoe Club in their home waters. Explore some of the most beautiful stretches of the Thames with the obligatory tea shop or pub stop.
A great value event with two workshops and a cold buffet lunch for just £30 per person. You’ll also get the chance to find out more about the regional development team with their annual consultative meeting.
