7 p.m tonight 4th June. Fraser River Film with Sue Hornby

Post by Slime »

Scottish Canoe Association invite you to join them at 7pm BST on the 4th June for this exciting online event on Facebook video.

We will be showing the original footage, shot for the BBC, with an opportunity to then hear from and put your questions to British paddling legend Sue Hornby - first women to kayak Hells Gate.
The Fraser River Expedition was led by Pete Knowles and was the first attempt to kayak the full 800 miles of the Fraser river, following in the footsteps of Scottish explorer Simon Fraser, who first charted the course of this river and much of British Columbia. This is a brilliant film documenting the expedition paddling pioneers of the 70's and 80's.
Please join us for this bit of paddling history and to put your questions to Sue!

If you miss it tonight then I am told that the video will be available to watch on the SCA site.

Happy watching,

Pete Knowles
