This really is an excellent event, just under 100 miles, finishing where you start (makes car parking easy!) and taking place mid summer on mixture of rural, industrial, broad and narrow canals. I think I am right in saying that its also the only UK event where you can paddle K1 through the night - a great experience. For followers (and slow paddlers) there are some great pubs, and, because its essentially a circular course, you are never far from any point. Very difficult (but not unknown) to get lost.
