The first race of the 2020 Scottish season is on the river Forth, Stirling near M9 junction 10, on Sunday 12th January. Meet in the carpark (see map below) at 10am.
There will be a mass start classic at 11am followed by a sprint at approx 1pm. The classic starts at the carpark, paddle upstream to the bridge, turn and finish back at the carpark. Sprints will be on the grade 2 rapid just downstream from the carpark, 2 runs and the fastest counts.
All boats are welcome to race. Entries on the day, £8 seniors and £5 juniors. Race in as many boats as you like on the sprint.
If there is enough interest a mini mass start classic will be run aimed at aimed at younger paddlers/slalom boats, this would start imediately after the main classic.
Since I can't make the photos how up, the car park is beside M9 J10 (A84), drive through the VOSA checkpoint and the car park is on the right at the far end next to the river and the motorway bridge. If the google maps link works it is by the place marker for 'Old mill fishing lodge'
Marathon, Freestyle, Polo, Slalom, Sprint, WWR, etc.
