Kayak Immersion Weekend With Helen Wilson & Mark Tozer

Location: Anglesey, North Wales

Cost: £250 Non-residential

Description: Join Helen Wilson and Mark Tozer for two days on one of their most comprehensive coaching programmes, where the aim is to develop the whole paddler. Each day will begin with Yoga for Paddlers to improve physical conditioning followed by a full day of coaching activities. On the Saturday we will cover Simplifying the Roll in the morning followed by Performance Paddling in the afternoon. On the Sunday we will cover Simplifying the Rescue followed by Applied Open Water Skills. Participants will receive individualised coaching during each session, and a personalised action plan at the end.

Private rolling classes are available on November 23 upon request.

Prerequisites: Ideal for intermediate paddlers wishing to improve their skills base, and/ or for paddlers wishing to present themselves as strong candidates for 3* or 4* sea assessment. Full immersion gear is required plus own boat and paddle. No need to be a Greenland kayaker but we hope to have paddles available for participants to try.
