From adventure training specialists, Live the Adventure’s paddlesport training courses, the BCU 3 Star Award Open Canoe involves high standards of personal skills and leadership. Paddlers at this level can consider themselves intermediate Kayakers or Canoeists. You will cover the skills and knowledge focused on a specific discipline and environment. Training courses (2 days) and assessments (1 day) will take place on moderate water as part of a lead group.

£300.00 per person incl VAT, training, rolling clinics and assessment (non-residential). Please note on successful completion of this course there is a £25.00 (BCU members £12.00) certification fee payable directly to British Canoeing.
£450.00 per person including residential – Please note that this is a specially discounted accommodation fee for 4 nights worth of accommodation including dinner, lunch and breakfast for this course only added to the standard course fee.
Standard residential facilities are charged at £60 (inc VAT) per person per night, includes dinner, lunch, bed and breakfast.
