Single dipper kayak - free to a good home

Post by Climber1953 »

I have a classic wooden frame kayak to give away to a good home. I haven't used it for 20 years or more but it seems in good nick.

It has a ventile top and a bottom made of some tough rubberised/plastic fabric which I believe had to be put on cold.

It is just about usable as it is but the ventile cover will need replacing as will some of the screws.

It has a V shaped hull and it holds it line very well so it's a decent canoe for a beginner.

It has seen better days but is so beautifully made that it would be a shame to scrap it. But I can make no use of it.

I have some pictures which I can e mail out.

Oh and I live in Derbyshire and I am not planning to deliver it!
