The Winston Churchill travel fellowship is exactly that - Sort out a really good reason why you want to travel somewhere with a kayak and apply and with a good idea your travel expenses may be paid for you! I got it for a disabled trip to Turkey, Mike Jones got it for the 1st descent of the Blue Nile in kayaks but other awards have gone to Phil Harwood for his Congo River solo canoe descent (an amazing trip look it up and read about it buy the book and DVD). Get your self organised if you have a British passport that is the only qualification you need. This is why I get asked to promote this.
Opportunity for funded Travelling Fellowships for canoers / kayakers leading expeditions open til 22nd Sept @wcmtuk http://ow.ly/OGHOL
I wonder if you could help to spread the awareness again this year to staff, colleagues, members and followers.
We would be very grateful for your support.
Please do get in touch if there is anything further that you would like me to provide for you.
Many thanks again.
Kind regards,
Helen
