new starter....help me out here!

Post by chris_hackett » Sun Mar 27, 2011 3:30 pm

hi guys,
my firends just starting up boating with an aim to get to uganda by october! (possible or not, this is debatable! haha) - He has nothing.....
we're looking to help set him up as much as possible to further his development he is around 5'8" so probably looking for "M" sized clothing with size 8 feet.

Anything considered: Helmet, Cag (Long or Short), BA (whitewater spec), Deck (neoprene), Paddles (whitewater spec) and a cheap playboat to fit. not looking to buy in a hurry so will take the best and biggest bargains that come our way!

Many thanks in advance!
chris (on behalf of rhys)

Hi Chris / Rhys,
I've got a BA that'd work: HF serpent, few years old, bit tatty, but still floats...
Details on here: http://www.ukriversguidebook.co.uk/foru ... 10&t=75402
Cheers

Hi,
i am selling my play boat, it was my first ever boat and is lovely, but i am moving into much bigger water, have a look at this link, http://www.ukriversguidebook.co.uk/foru ... 10&t=75786 im asking 300-400 but if your beginner friend wanted it id let him get on the kayak ladder and he can have it for 300, as a learners special, as it was my first too.
