After our shortage of boats for longer/larger paddlers was exposed last week, Sheffield University Canoe Club are after some larger boats
Thinking along the lines of Axiom 8.5/9.0 sizewise but anything considered, condition not particularly important as long as it's salvageable
Both offers and general suggestions would be most welcome
Being a student club, we should be able to pick up/meet in a fair few places
Many thanks
Andy

Re: WANTED: LARGE BOATS - for club use
Got a medium shiva for £470. I am 6'2 and fit easily, would probably do up to 6'4. Loads of volume much more than an Axiom 9.0, based in Aberdeen but could probably get it to Edinburgh, most likely be able to get it to BUCS white water racing in a couple of weeks if you're interested. tfhannan@gmail.com

Thanks for the offer, but a fair bit out of our price range I'm afraid. Looking from £200-300 per boat ideally

Hi Andy
Are dagger approach's of interest to you? We are selling off our fleet. Boats were purchased in April 2013 and are well looked after.
They are the EXP spec and not the club specs.
We have size 9.0 and size 10 available, the are normally £550 but ours are £300 each
If you are interested please give me a call on 01600 890129 or email me ian@wyedean.co.uk

Thanks for the offer Ian but the boats need to be capable of going up to grade 3. We're looking for robustness and full plate footrests

Re: WANTED: LARGE BOATS - for club use
Got an Eskimo Salto Evo, a fairly large volume, loads of foot room as long as you are under size 12 (unlike me!)
Good creeker/river-runner, round bow, semi-planing hull, with improved outfitting. I've taken it down grade 3-4 (on the Dart Loop/Upper, Tryweryn, Kent, Leven etc).
Looking for £370 + delivery
