Wanted: kayak for new paddler

Hi all,
A friend fancies trying kayaking so looking for a cheap set up to see if he likes it. He's about 5' 10" medium build. Just looking for a cheap river running kayak and any gear. Deck, paddles, BA, etc. Just a boat would be great though. Not going to be doing any serious white water! Can anyone help. Based in Oxfordshire but willing to pick up within a reasonable distance. Can anyone help?

I have an old perception dancer that I would be happy to sell, its well used but water tight and hasn't been repaired, it has new adjustable foot rests and a drain plug fitted let me know if you are interested Best F
