From anyone who's wearing a drysuit:

"Zip me baby, one more time"

or

"Can you help me with my relief zip?"

Sure; Open or closed..?

"You're driving!!!"

Can we eat these critters? Mike Absolutely, I've eaten Surrey's finest crayfish, but they were 'introduced' and had become a pest to the pond owner, so probably not native. Put them in cold water in the sink for 48 hours to rinse out, you might need a lid as they do try to climb out. If they start ...

The club website obviously not the most 'active' place,

I'd love to say we're all too busy paddling, but that would be lying.

Hello Salty's I've crossed over briefly from the inland pages for some 'sound' advice, regarding what to wear under my spanking new Dam X drysuit while river running; Now I used to scoff at the all in one (Immersion Research) type union-suits hanging up in the canoe shops with a £60 price tag; but ha...

On the Conwy, think the front end is badly spilt/stove in around the grab handle by the sound of it.
It's near Llanrwst, if you are able to inspect it for me give me a pm later?

That was us! Sadly I think the boat will have taken a very long run, if it isn't snagged up somewhere it will have defo taken a good thrashing on Swallow's & the Mincer. Re: LOST BOAT ON LLUGWY

Sorry to hear that Chas. Hope you get it back. I'm guessing that the Llugwy had a fair amount of water in it this morning. Mark we've had rather a lot of rain last night. What a difference from Sunday's run. To quote the local paddlers "everything's huge" and "it's the biggest it's been this year"....

Isn't the planned trip from Barnes to Westiminster? Why? Tides?

That means we don't get to paddle past any of the London Landmarks, also
I recall the take out was going to be somewhere nearby (but south bank) of
Westminster. Again missing more good photo backgrounds!
