Chris I have cruz aluminium roof bars on my Seat with flush roof rails. They still have a decent am...

Re: Derbyshire River Wye near Buxton

Some of our group walked the route the day before to check for hazards. We had to portage two large trees that we couldn't get past and removed a few other smaller ones to clear a better way through for next time. All part of the fun![emoji1] Made a nice change from Matlock.

Yes it does! That looks further down than the bit we did, is that nearer to Monsal Head?

Re: Derbyshire River Wye near Buxton

Paddled the section from Topley Pike put in to Millers Dale today. The gauge at Topley Pike read 0.46. Lovely bit of river, but wouldn't do it any lower, a bit of a scrape but definitely worth doing. Good old Lance removed a few strainer hazards along the way too.Grade 2 with one grade 3 Rapid just ...

Re: Does swimming ability effect kayaking confidence?

Completed it. Being a poor swimmer may stop you from trying watersports in the first place but when you are kayaking the main thing that gives you confidence is your kayaking ability not your swimming ability.

Re: Wavesport D65 hip pad

Ive got dagger hip pads in my d65 and they fit spot on.Think they were around 30 quid. Ive found that getting instructions or finding parts is no where near as simple as it should be for the d65.
