Drysuit for the excessively lanky?

I'm 6'6" tall and in need of a drysuit. From the size charts Palm doesn't look promising, but Typhoon seems to be a candidate (what's the difference between the MS3 and MS4 btw?).

Any other makes I should be looking at?

Re: outfitting DIY

Thanks! Working my way through the links now :)

So general opinion seems to be that self adhesive is OK, but proper glue is better?

Re: outfitting DIY

I'd be really interested to learn more about this too. For instance does the self adhesive foam actually stay stuck? Or does it need gluing properly?

Wanted: Drysuit teenager

I'd like to get a drysuit for my son. He's 5'5" (165cm) tall, but growing so fast I really don't want to buy new. Something well used would be fine, provided it's got a bit of life left in it, but this time next year he'll have grown out of it anyway! Anyone got anything gathering dust that they'd l...

How old is it, and what sort of condition? Do you have any pictures? Definitely interested!

Re: Wanted: Dagger Axiom 8.0

I'm pretty new to kayaks, so I don't know how much of an issue that dent is (or isn't!). Does it affect the way the boat performs at all? Or is it purely cosmetic?

I am a bit put off by it, but open to being persuaded if it's not a big deal.

Wanted: Dagger Axiom 8.0

I'm looking for a Dagger Axiom 8.0 as a first kayak for my 11 year old son. Doesn't need to be shiny, but nothing too trashed please!

Ideally somewhere in the southeast, or would consider having it couriered from further afield.

Re: FOR SALE - Dagger GT 7.8 River Series Spec

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm in Sussex, so a bit of a haul although not the end of the world.

I think it may be academic though as the boat is for my son and I think he's decided to try to find an Axiom anyway. If that changes I may get back to you!

Re: FOR SALE - Dagger Axiom 8.0

Would you be OK to send by courier? Or does it need collecting?

Wow, I hadn't spotted that even on Google Earth. Your hidden cove looks just like a scaled down replica of its neighbour!

Do you still have these? I tried to send you a private message but I'm not sure if it worked (not in my sent box!)

Re: Help on super size kayak

I'd suggest an Ocean Kayaks Malibu 2XL. It's about the only SOT with enough legroom for someone that tall, and he'd be we'll within the load capacity for the boat. It's a bit of a barge, but paddles surprisingly well I did a 15ish mile river trip on mine one day last week, and have done some reasona...
