Dagger approach may be worth a look. Scout around but you can get new one for around £400 including paddle and BA so eBay should have some options.

OK for lakes and rivers especially with the skeg.

Always worth checking with landowners if you can though especially if they may own some of the river. Failure to do so will result in p***ing them off. This results in them often doing things to upset kayakers such as making weirs more of a drop or removing parking bays.

Check out north east Kayaks. Mate of mine has just bought one and when doing research for him they seemed to have some pretty good package deals. Obviously new and maybe a bit more than you may be wanting to pay
