If you have access to a soldering iron perhaps you could make your own solar charger? http://electroschematics.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Solar-based-Multipurpose-Charger.png http://electroschematics.com/4809/solar-based-multipurpose-charger/ http://electroschematics.com/4746/solar-charger-circu...

Re: Wing Paddles...why not available in a crank?

Crank shafts were introduced into canoe slalom in the UK in the late 1980's. Richard Fox (5 times K1 Slalom World Champion) was the main driving force behind them. They were introduced in an attempt to improve performance during bow rudder strokes. When the arm is fully extended during a bow rudder ...

UK Circumnavigations

2012 looks like it will be a busy year for the UK Circumnavigator (possibly 15 or so paddlers making an attempt) and the levels of interest have finally catalysed me to finish a bit of a project. I've tried to list the various Circumnavigations attempts past & planned on the PSK site: http://www.per...

I don't claim to be an ornithologist but your Chicken suit looks more like a Penguin to me No flies on you Jim, it was a Penguin andit seemed rather feeble compared Pete's chicken suit.
