Bursitis of the elbow.

I have never had any elbow or shoulder issues before but I have recently changed paddles recently from a really old set of super flexi Dr D's to a set of straight shaft powerhouses. Sunday wasn't the first or the longest time I have used them ...

Re: Tavy egress in Tavistock

I havent paddled this section but I do live in tavistock, I could take some photos at the weekend if you like. i think the reference to a small car park should be to a small park. there is no car park on river left in between vigo bridge and town bridge. I also wouldn't say there isn't much of an ed...

The tree in the slot is the one that was blocking river wide upstream for ages.

It looks well lodged and will take some effort to shift.

Re: Lost Carlisle paddle - Walkham

TBH - I don't know. I was in a coach led group and this is what he told me! We started on the Walkham and then joined the Tavy. I couldn't say where I took this particular swim as there were many! A fellow paddler reckons it was still on the Walkham. Diane if it was above double waters (where the w...

I picked the flow on the basis it had the same neck/wrist setup as the spark suit and that seems to get rave reviews.

Re: storms down south...anyone out?

You need to find a sheltered break! Sadly few of these will be novice friendly, and will tend to be very crowded on good days, especially when so accurately forecast, for so long in advance. I was out at Soldiers (opp side of harbour from these boardies) on Sunday and Monday and it was VERY crowded...

Semi-dry cags.

I have a nookie semi dry cag that while comfortable on the neck, is far from even semi-dry.

Are the palm offerings any better? Not keen on a latex neck.
