Re: Plastic Welding?

Its for our boats at work, we keep getting little holes right under the seats but the seats are moulded in so we have no access so all patachs we have put on so far have had to go on the outside. our current method is to heat up the plastic with a hair dryer, once its all hot we then lightly apply a...

Plastic Welding?

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with plastuic welding guns? Are they just for cracks or can they be used for holes? any pros and cons? and hints and tips for using them. Most work i would be looking to do would be under the seat area.

Re: Abhainn Dearg, report and film

Hi guys, So here it is a full breakdown of the river: Access - Bit tricky but OK. The river empties into Loch damph so you have two choices, the first is put in at the North end of Loch damph and paddly all the way up, not ideal. The second is to use the access road at the south end of the loch. Thi...

Re: Abhainn Dearg, Done

Success,

we did it today and what a run, amazing gorge, big drops and hugely challenging but well worth the walk in. we will be putting a movie up over the next couple of days and a full break down of the river but it was awesom.

New Run, Abhainn Nan Lub just outside Sheildaig?

Hi, Just kayaked Abhainn Nan Lub just outside Sheildaig, Applecross side, not sure if it’s ever been done as it’s not in the guide books. The route is about 500m long and is a tight twisting little run. Its starts at the north end of the loch and finishes at the road bridge. The start is straight in...
