Wavesport Project 52 For Sale - Make me an offer

For Sale Blue and White Project 52. The boat is nearly 4 years old, I bought it from new and have the original receipts. It has been well looked after (only used on thames weirs, hpp etc) and is an excellent kayak for freestyle. Recently it has developed a small crack in the deck rim of 10mm but has...

Re: Cracked Playboat Advice Please

I have been informed by the shop that it is a known defect when the hull stiffening indents are put in during manufacture pressure can be put on the cockpit rim directly below and as a result cracks have been known to form. As it is a manufacturing defect should I be expecting a repair or should I b...

Cracked Playboat Advice Please

Hi, While I was paddling at the weekend I noticed that a small 'thumbnail' shaped and sized crack has developed on the cockpit rim of my playboat. The crack opens when i put upward pressure on the left thigh brace, however the crack is not related to any drill holes, bolts or other obvious areas of ...

Helemt Camera Mount

I am looking at buying a Contour HD1080p headcam and waterproof case and wondered how other people mount these onto non vented kayaking helmets? The camera comes with a flat surface mount for this purpose but i'm concerned that the way it attaches to the helmet would not be tough enough or waterproo...

Re: Point of View Cameras

So you use the flat surface mount that comes with?

It appears that one piece fastens to the helmet with 3m sticky pad and then the bit velcros in and attaches to the waterproof case.

I am a bit worried about the 3m sticky pad coming off? And also the velcro coming off..

Any thoughts?

cheers

Re: Point of View Cameras

Thanks for the advice! Would have been gutted if I had of bought the pov 1.5 at £500!! The contour hd 720p looks good and £250 for the unit and £50 for the waterproof case seems fair for the quality. Out of interest how do you mount your to your helmet? I've good shred ready scrappy superhero series...
