Serious safety issue!

I have experienced a serious safety issue with 'Mountain Warehouse' thermal mug. The screw thread on the cap seems insufficient and allows the top to shoot off under pressure from near boiling liquids/steam. I was lucky enough for the contents to (just) miss my face! I bought mine from Fort William ...

Plenty of fresh water! I have never used Milton, which would of course 'do' for bacteria. However, I'm not sure of the effects of chlorine on latex seals? As a swimmer, I know the low concentrations in swimming pools knacker normal elastaine swimming trunks very quickly.

Re: Tide races suitable for 3* paddlers

Hi there, As I am sure you are aware, the nature of tide races change considerably with wind direction and strength. Direction and size of the tide. What are you looking for? Training and practice in rough water can be had in the 'soup' of beach surf. Rescues are difficult and potentially dangerous....

Hi Folks, The response Mark received does seem surprising! On Anglesey we are fortunate to have a highly supportive, helpful and friendly relationship with the CG. Hi All,

I am trying to establish most recent and accurate regulations for seakayaking in French coastal waters, particularly what safety kit is required. I would struggle with French translation and can't seem able to find the information on the net. Anybody know a suitable site or link?
