Dont have a contact no but get hold of tracey or ian sherrington both of whom work with glenmore lodge they usually have all the info you need. As for not wanting to judge not many surf comps can run without the participants judging. Checkout the coldwater series which is being run in the north east...

Re: Cyalume light sticks; which colour?

As an engineer on SAR flight I have just had a chat with the pilots to get an answer form the horse mouth so to speak. A helicopter at night will be flown using NVG goggles and as such the colour wouldnt make much difference. However for the naked eye point of veiw the consensus was that green would...

Re: Gumbie Surfer in a bomb

I paddle a neutron RV and previously had a neutron. Im 90 kgs and find no prob at all with the rv it is slightly different to the old neutron in that the sides are deeper so it sits a little higher in the water. It is for me the bEst boat to suit my style of paddling.

I too agree it would be nice to see some of our sports funding spread out around the other disciplines. Only decent way is to check the run out from where you launch for stones then shuffle out. Despite scratching the fins won't be affected. Eventually you wont be able to notice the scratches.

Enjoy the transition to the new boat.

Try tynemouth surf shop

Mate of mine just did the same with his scarab x tech. Cost him 55 quid to have it repaired at tynemouth surf shop, failing that i believe there is a company called north east fibre glass supplies based inSheilds that could maybe help.

google either for more info. hope its of some use

Ditch the rails completely

Replace the rails with closed cell foam less stress on the boat and way more comfy. Spend some time with a very sharp kitchen knife and some good sandpaper. Will be a much better solution as well as being cheaper than the footbag too.

Surf boats

I'd second previous posts in that both the scarab and the rush plus would both suit.

Try before buy if poss as it really is what will work for you. but coming from plastic to composite all will be great. Enjoy and get down to a comp or two.
