Re: 'Fast' and 'slow' creek boats

My footwear got caught in the plastic nut holding the foot peg rail. I am wearing five tennies, I had the same issue with 5.10 canyoneers. I am size 12 feet and I'm...

Tree Blockage on Lower Tavy

Just as a heads up, there is a big tree across the Lower Tavy just below the sewage outlet and looks like it will be there for some time, portage river right. The two drops below this blockage have trees in them and can be run after we pruned the trees, the second drop on river left. Be advised that...

Most outdoor enthusiasts enjoy a number of sports walking, climbing, kayaking, caving, SUP, surfing,MTB, cycling, windsurfing etc. Maybe you were at the top end of where you wanted to be or near the top when you had your injury, now you need a new challenge and well kids will certainly be one. It has taken a number of big hits and have not suffered any head injuries. I am now on my second sweet rocker, first one is four years old. The amount of foam in th...

Re: Throwline length question

Surely you don't know what use the line will have on any given day, if your boat is pinned then it would be useful??? Climbing out of a gorge or moving gear up a step bank?
