There is one tree going across the river, about 1.5 miles in, but there is a small way through on the river right, but in very high water it could be a problem!
There are a few eddys up stream.

It's just around a right hand bend.

Did this river on Tuesday, all of the rocks where covered at the take out of the upper section and it was a lot of fun. I would love to padle it with even more water.

Right next to the Mill on the Exe pub in Exeter.
It's an amazing hole when the water levels are right.

It has to be the slides on the East Oakment, which turn into one big slide in high water. They are at least 500m of non stop fun and exctiment.
Its just a bit of a shame that the rest of the river has a few to many trees in it!

It does not look like any one has Mark. I'm planning on geting some people together for one of the weekends in sept and trying to get the whole thing done in a day!!! Would anyone be willing to help? 95% of them are up on the rock ledge. A few of them ended up in the water, but thats what will happen if we leave it any way.

I walked up to the tree today with my trusted bow saw and spent a few hours doing some clearing, it looks better now but there is still a way to go. I will walk up there on Thursday and take some pictures of this tree then put them on line.

One of the guys where I work, used to work for the EA clearing rivers and he is going to find out who it is that needs to be contacted to get it moved.

Get a Necky Orbit fish, there is loads of room in them and they throw down really really well. Plus it's one of the fastes boats on a wave out there.

The top wave on that Dart Loop is not all that good, where as Triple Three at the right level as totaly banging. The Anvil on the Dart is one of the best holes in the UK.
