Here's one. Whilst playing poker at the Harry Lemon in Uganda we managed to get EJ (Eric Jackson) to play a few hands with us and his daughter/some random other yanks. He thought he had a winning hand so he put in all is money I raised him so he put in Jackson Kayaks, time came to show are hands and...

Hello people, White water Kayaking is an assumed risk sport and if people want to take part in it then they should understand that getting on a river they don't know means your going to have to find your own way down it. So lets stop living in a nanny state and start looking after oursleves! Kayakin...

I've know idea what happened this weekend, but all I can say is it will be a massive lose to us all. I've lived and worked at the RDCP in both the summer and the winter and know first hand that they do NOT need us there. Paddlers are in no way even a small part of there income. They make it all in t...

The Zip, Switch and Which where all small deck size, but very slightly different from Riot decks.
It was not until the company changed hands and produced the Cronic and Vibe that they went to keyhole.

I have no idea what size deck Roto 4 is?!?!?!?!?

I say that all's well that ends well and it's all a learning experiance. But I don't think the Police needed to be called as you could have just started to walk up to meet the people walking out when you finished the river and told them to get back on and paddle down the easy paddle out section of t...

Many, many good times have been had by my self in the River Dart bar over the last 5 years, so I feel I might just have to head down that way for one or two more pints this weekend and see if I can reclaim the photos of my self from the walls in the bar. I hope others will join me in one last pint. ...

It does not matter which van you get so long as it as long wheel base, then you will be able to get your creek boats in. A friend has on of the new Renualt Traffics in a long wheel bass and my big Nomad will fit in it with no problems. Mazda, Toyota and a few other vans have the engin under the fron...

Stolen Kayak on Friday night, please help.

On Friday night my friend had his one week old Riot Astro 54 stolen from the roof of his car in Exmouth, Devon. This Riot Astro is the Lime Green that Riot are so well known for. It has or had a TEVA sticker on one of the front sides. The boat was Rack Guarded on to the car, but this did not stop th...

Who are the best people to fly with and how easy is it to then get the train to sjoa? An adivce would be...
