Re: uk.rec.boats.paddle

I'm currently using forte agent to read the newsgroup and it seems that the server here at Notts Uni seems to miss quite a number of posts, so that combined with the ghost town status means that I only check out of habit. I haven't had anything to add that is worth discussing tho'! I'm wondering whe...

Re: N.C.

I have some friends in Boone which is a "little" way from Asheville. I'll be heading over at some point in the future for a spring or autumn trip. Not this year unfortunately. :-(

Have fun

I think you might want to rephrase your question as:

Where is the most popular/regular boating destination in the UK?

Hi

I guess you didn't have any luck on Saturday. Rob said he definitely saw some blades on the river right bank. He thought they were schlegels though!

Re: Old skool

<t>I had to sell both my AQIIs (Only owned one at a time). But was paddling one until 1996. The Kobers gave up in '95 after 5 years and the only paddles I've had since with such longevity are the Lightnings I bought in '98. Re: New boat

Hi Mark H Are you still in Nottingham area? Keep an eye on the Derwent over near Derby cos when it's up Millford is going to be a hard place to beat. Interesting that you say the Quadro is bland. I'd have said that it wasn't well suited to playing low volume. Find a big wave and the hull comes into ...
