At Rhu Marina, near Helensburgh, there are about 8 seals who haul out on a floating concrete pontoon and pups are reared there, pretty soon, and yachts go past with engines and props only ten feet away. They stay put. If I paddle within 50-100yds they sniff and snort and one or two slip in, then app...

Under the SOAC unless it's a bird sanctuary or something, then it is totally legal to land.

Things to watch out for are again the shipping channels especially the north span of the rail bridge and the gas terminal at Braefoot; Your susposed to keep 200m off this.
