Using Lidos for winter practice

Many UK lidos are facing closure due to lack of use/funding. Their very large swimming pools would be ideal for learning/practice during the winter months and they have changing rooms and toilet facilities. Hi all, glad to join you. I must admit to not being a paddler (was one once though), rather a wild swimmer. However we share the same concerns - anglers, powerboats, rights of access etc. Firstly, the River Dane. We've established that the Dane has full public navigation rights so anyone can canoe (...
