Re: Snow melt advice please.

I have had a good snowmelt day on the Ogwen in the past, it will come up quickly once the ice and snow above Llyn Idwal start to melt. Snowmelt on the Ogwen lasted until mid-afternoon today. It was bloody freezing. http://sphotos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/398083_403596536402032_1568888447_n.jpg

Re: Kayak Guide Jobs

That's certainly my plan over here though, teachers only have to be in school 20 hours a week (and still get a full salary)... Doesn't look like BC teachers get paid during the holidays, poor show really! On the flip side of Chalet work... http://www.nzskier.com/assets/Uploads/Features_JUNE/_resamp...

Or get a trade/job that gives you time to play. My brother just spent over a year fixing (and ragging the tits off) snowmobiles, inbetween riding bikes and skiing hills.

Soundtracks for Videos

Hey there. Just looking through Vimeo's excellent features and spotted this - https://vimeo.com/musicstore#search_tracks Free, searchable, music that you can use for your videos. Definately a good (legal) solution to the old "Lets just use Sail by Awolnation" conundrum. I don't want to start a debat...

Re: How to make a vid ?!!!?!!

It is VITAL that when setting off, one doesn't simply shout "okaaaaay" or "off I go". Instead be sure to shout "Droooaaaaaapppppppiiiiiiiinnnnn' " even if you are lining up for international wave on the Tryweryn.

One should not boof if one can stomp (the shit out of) a drop.

I thought it was the Machno, however isn't that a very short stretch, i.e. below the grim looking fall at the old bridge, and above Conwy Falls, no more than 300m? So unless you're looking for an alternative start to the Fairy Glen, not a stretch you'd bother with? Or is there actually anything wor...
