Basically ,this just means the Cops cant be arsed. You can ,I think go to the civil justice system rather than the criminal justice system. Im sure we can get a help fund going to finance the action. Please dont let the a$$ehole get away with it. Either that or we paddle "his" river lots more.

Im not entirely sure, but the problem may stem from the CE classification . Since 2001 all vessels have to be stability tested and given a grade. A -ocean. B -offshore. C -sheltered waters. D - estuaries and lakes. European countries and insurance companies dont like it if you take a boat out of its...

Hi Tiff, guess you dont do this sort of thing much? As I posted, we're taking advantage of the tide not fighting against it. We meet Mountbatten so we can leave a vehicle there .That way, we got a vehicle at end of trip. Its called "a shuttle" . May see you in morning. Adios.

Yes I know, thats what I said. Why are they not gratings, then they wont blow out?

How do you wash and cook in a van? You build a shower enclosure, I use 6mm ply 12mm on floor all epoxy sealed and bonded. Go to a garden centre ,get a pump up 2ltr sprayer (£4) . 1.5 ltr water in kettle . Warm it to 40 C. Put it in sprayer and pump it up. Spray your self a little. Apply shower gell...

If you have a friend with a similar boat, wax the nose of it with release wax, layup a moulding of nosecone with glass and epoxy, release when cured, trim edges and fit it to your boat with Sikaflex adhesive.

I build an open canoe using glass(not chopped strand mat crap, but tri-axial cloth) and epoxy resin. I took it down the Dart a couple days ago, had some hideous sounding contacts with rocks , but at close of play there was only cosmetic damage to the 2 pack paint finish. Its extremely light too , I ...

Any of the modern diesel vans are great. My advice is dont limit yourself to one make, sniff out the best deal on the bigest newest lowest mileage waggon you can find. 2 years ago I got the train to Blackbushe comercial vehical auction with £4600 in my ass pocket and drove home a 52 plate LWB Transi...

Tepex is rubbish in terms of strength/weight ratio ,thats why its not used in aerospace.Granted its slightly better in a point loading scenario than a carbon/epoxy laminate, but if you want light weight theres only one choice, and repairs are easy.

Unfortunately Tepex does not lend itself to being formed into a complex shape of a boat. It cannot be melted and injected into a rotomould. Also, it does not bond reliably so 2 part traditional construction with a fibre reinforced tape seam is out.

Not stricktly found whilst paddling, but whilst enroute to the upper Teign, I swerved to the side of the road when I saw a banjo amongst household trash in a layby on A38. Sadly not a Gibson Mastertone, but sounds great anyway.
