A mate of mine is a mate of Rusty sage. He is tearing it up in kayak surf comps mostly I think. Wins a lot of them too.
Not sure if he has stayed away from freestyle on purpose or not.

I seem to remember playing about with BAs and lifejackets once and seeing if either actually did 'make' you float face up and as I recall only a fully inflated lifejacket actually had anything like that effect. As I recall each BA I tried obviously made me float (!!) but it was random how I floated...

My Nemo Gogo pole-less tent.
Brilliant piece of kit. Dry, light and very small packing. So much better than a bivibag for keeping out unwanted scorpions...
