Try Googling a few lines of lyrics. It normally works for a lot of stuff.

Spending a fortune on a plate of Beluga Caviar doesn't necessarily mean it won't taste like crap to you. Buy some paddles that you like, not just some that are impressively expensive.

have any different kayaks appeared on TV recently? Steve Backshall got stupidly close to Hippos in his series deadly 60 in a Fluid Solo. There was also a few shots of him paddling some grade 3 in Africa in the series as I recall... http://news.bbc.co.uk/earth/hi/earth_news/newsid_8070000/8070073.stm

Does anyone have any idea of what the line to the left hand side of that huge boulder holds on Double Pot Hole (2 min 44). Looks nasty. Re: Spray Carpet Glue - Hazardous to aquatic life

Using it in your boat where the adjoining surfaces 'gel' and essentially become solid shouldn't do our little fishy brethren any harm. If you use a third of the can and go hoik the rest into the river, that may well cause some harm.
Its fine (IMHO)

Re: Advise Needed on Airbags

Don't bother with airbags both sides. Get a Watershed bag . They are excellent and very handy for stowage. Gee at £55 I would expect it to take all the water out of the boat, turn the boat upright and get the boat to the bank for that price. It does, and it also keeps your sandwiches nice and dry...

Re: EVIL Cameras - Any Good?

This type of camera would only appeal to people who bought DSLRs and never took it off auto. Where’s the scope for developing your photography skills? The DSLR has done wonders for sparking people’s interest and creativity and made them delve a little deeper with regard to technical ability. This i...

I had a go on a 'bridge' camera with a digital viewfinder, it was utterly horrible. These may have advanced somewhat but I like to ACTUALLY see what I'm shooting nice and crisp preferably.

Wow, very interesting. really like the attachment system there. Seems about as strong as you can do with minimum compromises elsewhere.
Thanks for the vid.

Re: What DSLR lens size for boating pics

If you can stretch your budget I would definitely recommend a wide angle (10-20mm) Whats good at the lower end of the price range? I have a D40 so ideally need an AF-S lens. Incidentally, I would have thought from paddling there that much of the stuff in Uganda would be better with a longer lens as...

Re: Camera mounting

I used to use one of these duck-taped down. It has fairly short legs so is quite stable, and adding more tape means it won't move at all. They are great as you can fine-adjust the position of the cam if it is not quite right and they can take pretty heavy hits through holes etc I've found. Add a lit...

It was...(and I'm not 100% on the name) the North Fork of the North Fork of the American river. We had that heinous walk-in to the Giant gap section, the group got split up and we got o...

In my Remix, I've found extending the backrest on the side you want to access, and shortening it as much as possible on the other. Then stand on the seat, and pull the backrest up. Should give you full access to the back. What sort of ratchets do LL use? Can you not just slide them right out of the...
