Bliss Stick RAD 195.

I'm selling my Bliss Stick RAD 195. Bought it from a friend a few months ago with good intentions of using it. I'm not using it so It's on here for sale. It's in great condition and no splits or anything like that. It's had an easy life so far and whoever takes it will be getting an awesome boat. I ...

Re: Minnoch SEPA Gauge

Hey Bruce,
We took a jaunt down there a month ago as it had been high but was just into medium. We got there it was really low.
Normally everything still goes when the gauges say low albeit with some scraping but go all the same. A wasted journey and fuel :(

Re: Trees on Middle Doon

It's my local run. It is clogged with trees again. runnable though. we went in there with chainsaws and ropes and tidied it up a while back but these storms have caused havoc. I love it when its high as possible and the bridge is a portage.

Re: New trees down on the Doon 28/02/09

Doug, I've only just spotted this. Not the Ness Glen section mate. Theres a good section downstream a few miles getting in at Patna and getting out at Skeldon Estate. It was tree infested until 2 years ago when we went in there with chainsaws to cut trees out the river. Theres always the risk of tre...

New tree on Middle Doon

Hey, We were down the middle Doon yesterday. There is a new tree on the exit from Boreland Gorge. At higher flows you'll need to be sharp. The tree has fallen across the whole width of the river. There is a path on river right for portaging. Very high flows yesterday and today may move it around. g

Re: Creek Boat Bomb Proof Spray Deck Advice

I've used Pyrahna decks, Playboater decks, Peak decks,Palm decks. (funny how they all begin with P) I'm on my second Seals deck. Only because my first was stolen after I'd had it a year. Was bone dry. I used to think my Nomad leaked till I got the Seals deck. We all treat our kit differently. I thin...

New tree on Middle Doon

Theres a new tree on the Middle section of the Doon. We paddled it at a high level last Monday and we just got over it and no more. If your going in there at a scrapey level you'll need to remember theres a new tree just on the exit from the gorge section. It's totally manageable to break out knowin...

I contacted the local constabulary as well just in case it had been handed in. To no avail. I got a replacement (one ...
