Re: Spraydeck material for sea kayak?

Hi! My first spraydeck was a Lomo neoprene, but the "rubber" or latex or that material what cover the seams inside is leaving stains in my clothes, drysuit and everywhere, because is a black stuff very sticky, like glue. I have few questions. Anyone saw that before? Any way to clean it from a drysu...

7Figure Imersion Research men

Hi! Anyone using the 7figure IR with the single neoprene waist band? Is the hoop and loop system? The spraydeck is going over that neoprene? Or is a double layer and it's going underneath the neoprene band? The inner layer next to the skin is neoprene as well? Is not easy to damaged that place rubbi...

Re: Rudder up hitting in the deck. Solutions?

Practice. You should be able to feather or ease the tension on the retrieval line as the rudder kicks up. The rudder will still hit the deck but you should be able to reduce the force of impact. There is also a V shaped fitting that can be installed on the deck that centers the blade. I meant the r...

Rudder up hitting in the deck. Solutions?

Hi!

I just installed the rudder in my kayak, when I pull it up is hitting in the deck.

Any parts or tricks to avoid that?

Re: Foam

The NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research released a report on the fatal accident involving five surfers on 11 May in Scheveningen. At the time of the incident, a two-metre high layer of seafoam lay/floated in the corner between the harbour head and the beach. The seafoam most probably ...

Re: Beginner in a Wavesport Horizon. Thighs Braces to low?

Maybe take the thigh braces out completely? To seal the holes I would use a hot melt glue gun - the 'glue' is just melted plastic, so squeeze a bit into the hole, let it cool and trim and excess with a sharp knife. Or just put gaffer tape over the holes; that's a safer bet if you might yet find you...

Beginner in a Wavesport Horizon. Thighs Braces to low?

Hi! I just bought my first sit in kayak. A Wavesport or Perception Horizon. I am 185cm and 100kgs. I didn't try in water yet, but I can get a comfy posture with the thighs braces, is to low for me, pushing the leg flat down, maybe the cockpit is to wide, so I need to have the leg too separated, too ...

Transport Sit in PE kayak

Hi!
How do you transport your sit in kayak?
I read fiberglass kayak must go with the hulk down (upside up).

What about the plastic one? I see always SOT upside down position. Is for Sit In the same?
How do you storage it in the garden? The same way as transport?
