FS : Watershed Stowfloats

I have a pair of Yellow Watershed stowfloats, brilliant for dry storage/airbag combo. Both in great condition and only been used on a handful of trips. Unfortunately I don't do enough expedition type paddling anymore and they are just sitting in my kit box. They retail at £70 each, and haven't been ...

Re: Look after your ears!

Speak to your doctor, get him to refer you to your local ENT department. They can mould and get custom swim plugs made for you and they only cost around £30..
Having had several friends that have had their ears drilled, thats the path i went.

Re: How to pack for flying with kayaks?

Most Airlines work on a Piece system, therefore a Paddle bag is an extra piece of luggage and they will charge you for a tag.. Best thing to do is tape the paddle bag to the top of your boat... Have done this on over ten flights with no issues... in fact air NZ lent me the tape and advised me to do ...

Thanks for the update, Josie and Dory from your group have passed on the info too..
Shame on the water levels :-(
I think we're looking at some canyoning and surfing as a backup plan.
Glad the driver worked out for you, Jalil is sorting us out too so hopefully we will end up with Hassan as our driver.

Pierre, Bristol canoe club is probably the largest in the area. All clubs do a bit of whitewater However there are a lot of paddlers , independent of clubs, in Bristol that paddle the main white water season. The South West of England has a very good community of whitewater paddlers who are always o...

Re: CARDIFF INTERNATIONAL WHITE WATER UPDATE!!

I hate to say this and I'm sure it'll be taken as sacrilege but it looks a bit lame to me. Just like cardington but with a little more water. Having paddled both courses, I can assure you Cardiff is completely and utterly different than Cardington. Cardington is a good intro to moving water site, C...
