I'm not 100% sure what Mark is refering too. However his flak jacket comment did ring a bell. if I can remember correctly you will get shot at by a grumpy landlord. Not sure if its that good anyway otherwise I would of been for a look! Woodmill aka the mighty itchen death gorge is the best one near...

Hi,I have an Ez for sale,im based in Accrington,happy to bring for demo if your in my area,fantastic boat,paddled lots of 3-4-5 in it only selling because I broke my leg(not whilst init) and my new leg says no!! so im paddling a wavesport fuse now due to more leg room

There used to be two riverwide strainers just before the river comes into Morecombe bay. In Milnthorpe on the way to Arnside on the left hand side is one. the second is just near the old stone bridge before you get to Sandside. I'd put money on it ending up there. If you look at Andeeb's pic,you can see the weakness in the weir,more so in the second picture with the dark downward V,lookk at the second picture then look at the first and you will pick it up,steps are runable at most levels but have been known to damage boats(rarely)with no stopper at the bottom...
