Re: Zet Five

Thanks Mr CountVonCount. The new Zet has been out for 7 months and I still cant find any on-line reviews about it apart from your comments or the odd comment like "sat in a Zet Five, wasn't too comfortable..." etc which is hardly much use. Not sure why this is as normally new boats get tested and re...

Re: For Sale Dagger Kingpin Icon 6.3 cheap playboat

Hi Sorry for the delay, I’ve been out of the country for several weeks and not been getting any notifications.

Yes it’s still for sale, I’m looking to get £150 for it.

Regards

Re: For Sale Dagger Kingpin Icon 6.3 cheap playboat

I bought this second hand 2 years ago but have recently upgraded to a Wavesport Mobius. This is an ideal boat for anyone looking to get into playboating who doesn’t want to splash the cash in the early days. It’s in reasonable condition for its age (2004-2006 I would estimate). It’s quite scratched...

Re: The best boat in the WORLD!

So the best boat in the WORLD is this new one from Zet called the Raptor! It's winning all the extreme races. No, hang on, it's the Bliss Stick Tuna, no, hang on, the Waka Tuna now, everyone has one. Oh actually it must be the Lettman Granate, that's winning all the extreme races. Come to think of ...

Re: British Canoeing - Trespass Polic

Trespassing is not a criminal offence, if it was then any travellers pitching up on a village green could be arrested immediately. You'll notice this never happens, a court injunction has to be taken out which takes weeks by which time the travellers will be on their way, they know the deal so we ou...

Re: Cag maintenance advice

I'm unfortunate in that I'm a medium body size and an XL size head. I had no probs with Yak Maveric as it has no neoprene collar to contend with. WSO tell me they have a 60 day returns policy which is handy.

Thanks for all your feedback.

Re: Cag maintenance advice

What a bummer. Today I received a new Yak Riwaka medium, same size as the old Yak Mavric. I was expecting the new seals to be tighter than the old ones but seriously I doubt a 10 year old could get this on. The latex has a close fitting neoprene outer and I would have to heave the latex AND the neop...

Re: Cag maintenance advice

Yes I did try pulling the seals further down the neck and wrists. Two hours on the legacy, no swims and two rolls and I could wring water out of my rash top.

Re: Cag maintenance advice

Thanks for the reply. Being pretty handy at DIY I did consider this replacing the seals myself. I decided against it beacause I reckon all the parts and glue would be about £40 coupled with the fact that if I get it wrong I'm back to square one and £40 out of pocket. If/when the next cag seals go I ...

Cag maintenance advice

After a year and 9 months of regular use, flat-water and white-water, the latex neck and wrist seals on my Yak Mavric are leaking, they are not damaged they've simply stretched too much. As it would cost £75 to replace the neck and wrist seals I have opted to simply buy a new cag for £100, namely a ...
