looking for a werner crank shaft

Hi, I'm looking for a Werner crank shaft from a set of broken blades. Does anyone have a broken set they want to sell?
Thanks Andy

Re: Woodmill Sluice - Please vote for a new WW course in Southampton

There was a consultation in the Woodmill centre last week, I stumbled upon it by chance. They seemed very keen on the whitepaper course option, in fact it was the only option where they asked for a direct response. The reasoning appeared to be that they could apply for additional sports funding to r...

Paddle Shaft Wanted

Looking for a paddle shaft, preferably cranked but straight good too, anything considered, maybe you've snapped a blade and still have the rest of the paddle.
Thanks Andy

Re: Worst Whitewater boat you have paddled.

Pyranha Nano, I can't think of one redeemable feature. I've had and still own a few Pyranha's so not one of the hater's. It managed to completely isolate the paddler from the water, no feedback and no response to hip control. Truly a bathtub with a deck.

10 metre Palm throw line lost on the Ubaye. It has a checkmate locking karabiner and 6" sling attached. Long shot I know but would love to get it back if anyone finds it. Thanks Andy

Re: Shoulder Supports

I have had roughly the same problems and surgery on my shoulders. I now use a tight fitting neoprene top for support and it works great. It gives support to both shoulders and is designed for paddling. Its like wearing a second skin and I forget I'm wearing it after a short time on the water. Most i...

Looking for advise, what's Hurley like on 2 gates is it worth travelling to? Is it easier on 2 to get a feel for the wave for someone new to the weir?

Re: Gees wooden Paddle Info and value Anyone?

I still use mine, I cut the shaft and reset the blades at 45 deg with hardwood splints and re-tipped with Carbon Fibre. I don't use them for white water anymore but they're great for just messing about on the river. The blades are huge, great for distance paddling.

Re: Parking Newbury

Have had cars vandalised before when left for long periods in Suburban areas, so always like to check for recommendations.
Ironically, from experience, it has always been the 'nicer' areas where I have had problems. Never park outside a house with a with an immaculate garden!

Re: Kit Dip?

Rain water. Mine gets a good dunking in the water butt then is hung to dry outside so the breeze blows through it. Hang it in the shade, out of direct / bright sunlight in the summer.
