Hi all,

I'm heading over to the Dee on Saturday. What's the general advice on access at the pool just above Horse Shoe Falls?

Thanks in advance....

Van Insulation - advice needed

Hi there,

Bought myself a paddle wagon finally and was wondering how people have insulated theirs for winter sleeping use. It has ply lining on the sides and doors, and a bulkhead enclosing the cab.

Any advise on preparing your van for the winter bivvi would be great...

Cheers

I've a few questions of my own as I'm also currently looking into a van on a specific budget to stick to: - Best /most reliable / least cost to maintain vans... ? Would you go for a slightly older VW Transport...

Re: Frustration...

When an elite athlete is disappointed with their performance any number of emotions can come to the surface. Look at what happened to Paula Radcliffe in 2004 and 2008 Olympic marathons. Paula then came back after those to win the NYC Marathon in November 2008, some 3 months after the Olympics. Somet...

That's what the website says anyway... I'd always check with the office as well to make sure although that might confuse matters more in some instances given recent experiences!!

Re: New BCU First Aid requirements

From looking at the Canoe England's "Approved Courses" page (http://www.bcu.org.uk/coaching/first-ai ... d-courses/) HSE Approved First aid at Work is acceptible:

I quote Canoe England here:

"HSE First Aid at Work (this is acceptable as the BCU 2 Day requirement)"
