Re: Kayak Volume
If you are looking for a high cargo volume sea kayak then I have a Kaskazi Skua you can try - been used on a multi week exped in Papau New Guinea by a well known 5* lady (can't mention her name) who gave it a sterling report. I'll try to find the volume for you, but it'll take 160kg easily.

For Sale - Kaskazi Skua
Kaskazi Skua for sale, never been paddled.
5.3m long, 58cm wide (not waterline), 23kg fully fitted and has a max rated carry capacity of 160kg, although I have had more in mine. Excellent expedition sea kayak, built to deal with Cape Agulhas so will deal with anything you want it to.

Re: Where is good to go sea kayaking around mid and north Wales coastline
Caemes bay - Bull bay is a good paddle, or Porthdafach to Rhoscolyn. The straits from Caernarfon to Beaumaris (or vice versa) can be fun if you are comfortable paddling through the swellies. The tides around anglesea are a tad confused though, so double check your planning.

Swellie Wave
Hey, I have been struggling to catch swellie wave in the menai straits. I know it only works on the flood, and where it should be, but the few times I have surfed it have been down to lucky opportunity more than planning. Most of the time I paddle through and there is nothing worth trying. About wha...
