Re: Canoeing in Norway - any recommendations?

Awesome advice. Many thanks. Yes I’m the same Polly! Love your write up of that trip... it does sound excellent. I am realising we may need to go to Sweden. That sounds good - I’ve not been there.

Canoeing in Norway - any recommendations?

Kia ora We have a family wedding in Norway this July... excellent opportunity to do some whitewater kayaking! We would also like to do some canoeing with our five year old and another family who would pop over and join us from the UK. Any recommendations for a 5-6 day canoe trip in Norway? Class two...

Re: Snowpack in Italy and France this year?

Looks like quite a bit of rain in the next week in the Sesia valley. Are levels through the roof?

Fingers crossed the switch goes to sunshine next weekemc?

Re: Snowpack in Italy and France this year?

Thanks v much for this info, appreciated! European melt timeframes seem less predictable than in the western US? Will polish the crystal ball for our trip starting mid-May... hopefully we get nice long season of good water rather than massive early season peak!

Snowpack in Italy and France this year?

We're heading over to Italy and France this year from New Zealand. Any info on snow pack levels and likely flows in the valsesia valley and Briancon would be very much appreciated!
