Re: Times article
“Access is restricted to the river so that the anglers, who pay to fish it, can do so undisturbed. It is unfair for them to pay money and then have their enjoyment and value for money compromised by other river users.” This is absolutely what it’s all about. People will pay more for fishing rights ...

We are also quite locked down, but allowed to paddle our home rivers here in Finland. Our freestyle team sends sometimes something to see. These spots are for sure nothing world or even English class, but fun and near:

Re: Anyone tried a pyranha ozone yet?
Jou! Got my new Ozone large home today. Big and comfy! I am 191 cm (6´3^English?), feet 11,5 Astral Hiyaks, and I can very comfortably sit in with my Hiyaks, and I had to even raise the seat a little bit! So, totally a big and comfortable boat to sit in. Tomorrow a test paddling from our own place,...

Thats because they are experienced and can effortlessly do what beginners have to really think about I think it's more likely they were looking for an excuse for having swum! What a thing to say! As if they'd want to pass the blame onto some poor helpless equipment......next they are going to be bl...

Re: Not managing to pull a spraydeck
Very very odd! All my friends say, after swimming, that their decks "just opened", or better "exploded", by them selves. Also the tightest ones, I R Royals, Seals Pro Rands, Peakuk Creek decks, just "popped out", "exploded", " opened by them selves" etc.

Pyranha Ripper Small?
Hello!
Has anyone paddled Pyranha Ripper small? My wife is very interested in it, but no possibilities to test. For my eyes it very narrow and long.

Re: Do you need a backband?
It might be possible, that some world class freestylers do not have a backband, but then they for sure have a strong seatbelt (like aero plane seatbelts) in their freestyle boats! So has Bren Orton also, I think. I answer to my own answer. How many of you has been competing in freestyle kayaking la...

Chris, have you tried WS Moebius? It is big as hell. I, 190 cm and 95 kgs, am all a much too small tiny boy for it, I think it needs a man more than 2 meters and 120 kgs to be good.

Paddling Partners 12th-15th July North Alps
Hello! We are looking for paddling partners 12th-15th July somewhere in the northern Alps, Austria or Switzerland. We are driving from Norway to Switzerland then, and we have those days "free". We are two Finns and are driving with one car, so we can*t do any shuttles without some friends. We have b...

Re: Pyranha Loki - any good?
A helpful hint for you Loki paddlers: take the pads out from thigh braces. It gives a lot more foot room and better sitting position. Just 4 screws on each side. The thigh braces are comfortable also without the paddings.

Re: Who's had coaching then?
There is no creek boat that will do a pivot turn! Liquid Logic Braap?! I think slalom has a really big correction to river running. The gates are just must make places on the river, and you often have to cross to different gates from very awkward places. So slalom forces you to be able to read and ...

Thank you! Our local Palm dealer can get Gradient shoes, so I ask them to order them to the store, so we can try them with a drysuit. Much better than ordering from some net store without beibg sure about the right size.

Does any manufacturer in our world make creeking shoes for ladies, and I mean now in lady sizes? Good creeking shoes with laces, not any neoprene flipflops? Thanks again! I think my next boat will be a Tuna. I had years ago several Bliss-Stick Rads, awesome boats. They felt a lot bigger than they told, I think at least BlissStick counted the gallons in some different way than other companies. And, also my last Rad had those thigh hooks, that put legs lo...

Thank you for your answers! I have heard about the weak plastic of Waka kayaks, so I definitely would like to get one made of the new plastic. I also test paddled Burn size L, but it felt a little bit too tight for my taste, otherwise nice though. Also the XL felt almost tighter than the old size L...
